Who is Grant Nash?
Grant Nash is the wine lovechild of long time friends Sam Martin and Sophie Richards. Born and bred in the heartland of Australian winemaking, South Australia, it was inevitable that wine would become part of their life.

They met back in 1994 at the legendary Roseworthy Agricultural College and then parted ways; both traveling and working vintages around the world before reuniting again at Hardys in 2003.
They both worked various Sales & Marketing roles at Hardys and then Constellation for a number of years. It was an incredibly exciting and prosperous time in the booming Australian wine industry and the long lunch was a weekly (if not daily) event.
Over the course of these countless long lunches they always dreamt of making a wine together and thus the idea of Grant Nash was born.

Fast forward twenty years, with two young families and a bunch of different wine experiences under their belts, they finally decided to take the plunge and made their first wines together in 2022.
The focus is on fresh, vibrant McLaren Vale Grenache blends made with a light touch to let the fruit shine.
Grant Nash’s grapes are sourced from some of McLaren Vale’s best vineyard blocks. The wines are gently made with minimal additions, no fining agents are used and the reds are unfiltered. -
